Group Selection

Use the Group Selection button to lock the selection of openings into one object. 

The Group Selection feature will lock the current selection of objects together, and merge any overlapping objects.

Merging objects together can easily create a unique object.  

Select the desired objects.

Click on the Group Selection button.

Any objects that overlap will be merged together.

This grouping will now be treated as a single object.

Select a group of objects.

Click the Group Selection button to group the objects and lock them together. 

Click to rotate the object.

It will rotate as a single object instead of individual openings.

To rotate a group of objects as individual items, select the objects but do not group them via the Group Selection button (see Grouping Objects above). 

Click to rotate the objects.

They will rotate as individual objects instead of as a single object.

Click on the grouped object.

Click the Ungroup Selection button.

This will ungroup the currently grouped objects. 

Any objects that were merged will now return to their previous state.

Click on the background mat to unselect all of the objects.
