Closed V-Groove A Closed V-Groove is a decorative channel that is cut about halfway through the thickness of the matboard, exposing the matboard core. |

Click the Add V-Groove button on the Openings tab to add a V-Groove to the design. | |
If an object is selected when clicking Add V-Groove, the V-Groove Offset window will open. Enter the distance away from the current opening to place the V-Groove. | |
The V-Groove is placed. |
Set the Default for the V-Groove Distance | |

The Default setting for the V-Groove Distance can be set in the Admin > Editor section. |
Open V-Groove | |

An alternative to the Closed V-Groove is the Open V-Groove, which cuts a wide channel into the matboard and exposes the matboard beneath it. See V-Groove Properties for information on changing the VG Width on the Properties Tab to make a Closed V-Groove into an Open V-Groove. |
Edit the V-Groove | |

Click on the V-Groove object and click on the Properties Tab to edit the V-Groove Properties. See V-Groove Properties for information on editing the individual proprietary adjustments available. |
