Use the Add V-Groove button to add a V-Groove to the design.

Closed V-Groove

A Closed V-Groove is a decorative channel that is cut about halfway through the thickness of the matboard, exposing the matboard core.

Click the Add V-Groove button on the Openings tab to add a V-Groove to the design.

If an object is selected when clicking Add V-Groove, the V-Groove Offset window will open.

Enter the distance away from the current opening to place the V-Groove.

The V-Groove is placed.

The Default setting for the V-Groove Distance can be set in the Admin > Editor section.

An alternative to the Closed V-Groove is the Open V-Groove, which cuts a wide channel into the matboard and exposes the matboard beneath it.
