Cutting from the Front will cut with the face of the mat toward the operator, and can be selected on the Cut Preview.
The Cut Preview will display Front if the current layer is cutting from the Front of the mat.

Toggling the Cut From Front toggle to Off will display Back instead of Front, unless the design contains a Pen, Deboss, Crease, Vinyl or V-Groove which will always cut from the Front.

Default Settings

See Options > Switch Between Front and Normal Tools on the Cut Preview.
See Options > Always use Normal Tool on the Cut Preview to toggle on/off this feature.
See Options > Cut From Front on the Cut Preview to select whether to cut the design from the Front of the mat.
See Options > Cut Front Tool on the Cut Preview to designate which cartridge to use when cutting from the front of the mat.
Select Cut From Front toggle to select whether to cut the design from the Front of the mat on the Cut Preview.
