Replacing the AirGlide Clamp Switch

Disconnect the air supply from the AirGlide.

On the back of the AirGlide at the base of the backing board, loosen the three bolts on the left side backing board stabilizer.

Carefully remove the backing board.

Remove the nut on the front of the Clamp Switch.

From the back, carefully remove the Clamp Switch.

Locate the black and clear air lines on the back of the Clamp Switch.

With a blade, cut the black air line from the Tee, taking care not to cut into the connector itself.

Remove the old switch assembly.

Disconnect the clear air line from the white fitting on the Clamp Switch.

Locate the replacement Clamp Switch.

Connect the black airline onto the Tee; connect the clear airline to the white connector.

Insert the replacement Clamp Switch into the clamp switch hole in the control panel.

Place the nut onto the Clamp Switch and tighten into place.

Replace the backing board onto the AirGlide.

Tighten the three bolts into the backing board stabilizer on the back of the AirGlide at the base of the backing board.

Connect AirGlide to compressor and discard the old Clamp Switch.
