Selected Group of Objects Properties

Use the Group Selection Properties to edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for the selection of a group of objects.

A Group of Objects Properties

Select a Group of Objects and click on the Properties Tab. 

Edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for a selected group of objects.

Optionally, Right-Click on the selected group of openings and select Edit to open the selected group Properties.

If all of the objects within the selection are Template Openings, additional template property fields are displayed.

Group Selection of Objects

You can change the properties of a group of selected objects.

Selecting a Group of Objects

The selection of objects can be made by clicking and drawing a box around the desired group of objects.

Optionally, hold down the Shift or CTRL key and click on each object with the mouse to select them. 

Group Leader Selection Properties

The Properties Tab contains all of the controls and settings for editing the current group of selected objects. 

The Group Leader is displayed with white control handles. The Properties Tab displays the group leader's properties.  

To change the Group Leader, click on the desired object, or hit Page Up or Page Down to cycle the leader through the group.  

If the selection of objects contains different templates, all options may not be available.

Group Selection with Non-Template Object

If the group selection contains a non-template object, the Dimension fields are the only editable fields available.

The Style field is either empty or grayed out, and the Reveal and Parameter sections are hidden.  

Group Template Design

The Group Template Opening section allows the user to select a different template which will be applied to the current selection of template openings.

Template Number and Name

Click the Template Number and Name button in the Style field.

The Template Library opens. 

Select a new template.

The currently selected templates will be replaced with the new template from the Template Library.

Dimensions

Use the Dimension Section to edit and/or lock the selected group of object dimensions.

Width 

Enter the Width dimension for the individual objects selected. 

All of the objects in the selection will change to the new dimensions. 

Height 

Enter the Height dimension for the individual objects selected. 

All of the objects in the selection will change to the new dimensions.

Sizes Button

The Sizes button displays a list of Recent and Standard sizes.  

Swap Button 

The Swap button switches the values between the width and height fields.

Lock or Unlock Size

Click the unlock icon toggle to Lock the size of the current selection of objects. 

Conversely, click the locked icon toggle to Unlock the size of the current selection of objects. 

Group Selection Template Options Reveals Tab

The Template Options Reveals tab section allows selection of the number of layers and their reveals, whether the layers are reverse bevel and the cartridge selections. If the group selection contains any objects that are not templates, this section is hidden.

Number of Layers

Enter the number of desired Layers for this selection of template openings. 

Each layer entry is identified by a layer number; the topmost layer is labeledTop

Reveal

Enter the reveal amount for each layer in the Reveal field. 

The topmost layer is labeled Top.
