Cutting V-Grooves on the Eclipse Pro

1. If your design contains a V-Groove, you will notice that the MatDesigner will display that it will cut that layer and any openings on that layer from the front of the mat.

2. On the machine, place a mat board with the front of the board showing and turn on the clamps.

3. Click Cut. You will see a prompt to change the Blade Depth.

4 To change the Blade Depth for the V-Groove, lift the locking lever and pivot the cutting Head out and down. Press the V-Groove Adjuster to the Left. Replace the cutting Head and lever and tighten the thumb-screw.

5. Click OK. The CMC will cut the V-Groove and return to the home position.

6. You will be prompted to change the Blade Depth back to mat depth (i.e., return the V-Groove Adjuster to the Right). After returning the V-Groove Adjuster to the Right, Click OK to cut the openings.

When the machine stops, turn off the clamps and remove the mat.
