The mat thickness is displayed in the Thickness field.
The Depth Bias is used to calculate the proper Blade Depth when the SKU selected for the matboard contains the Matboard Thickness.
First make sure that the physical Blade Depth setting is set correctly.
If Blade Depth is Too Deep, Decrease Depth Bias.
If Blade Depth is Too Shallow, Increase Depth Bias.
