Change Profile for Image

  • Select Change Profile for Image to create, manage and select color profiles to be used with the camera. 

  • For Additional Information: See Color Profiles for information on creating a color profile for the software.

  • Default Settings:

  • See Admin > Defaults for the default settings for Loading Images.

  • See Admin > Editor for the default settings for the Camera Defaults.

  • See Admin > Editor for the default settings for the Wink Camera Defaults.

 Color Profile Definition

Color Profiles are used to create a properly color balanced image in Visualize for cameras Without an Auto White Balance feature, such as the Wink Camera.

  • Create and use color profiles which takes into account color, lighting, and other variables specific to the camera location. 

  • Several color profiles can be created and used, such as for different lighting conditions during the course of the day.

  • Color profiles are applied to the image taken by the camera which is displayed on the Visualize editor; the color profiles are not applied to the preview screen.  

  • Color profiles are only available for cameras without an auto white balance.

  • If your camera automatically adjusts the colors this feature is unnecessary.

Current Profile Selection

  • The current profile selection is displayed on the Change Profile for Image field. 

Select Profile

  • Select a different profile from the Change Profile for Image dropdown control.

Color Profile Listing

  • The Color Profile Listing displays the previously created color profiles.
