The Pen Cartridge is used to draw onto the surface of the matboard on the CMC to create a design.
Click Add Decorative Line button on the Openings tab.
Select the desired Pen Number.
The are nine Pens available.
For Additional Information: See Install Pen for information on calibrating each of the pens for use in the Pen Cartridge.
Default Settings: See Admin > Editor for the default settings for the Pen Cartridge.
You can Pen Designs, CutArts, LetterMats and TTFs.

The Install Pen Utility calibrates the Pen Tool for use on the CMC.
The Pen Cartridge draws onto the surface of the matboard to create a design. In addition to templates, you can also Pen CutArts, LetterMats and TTFs.
Use the Install Pen utility to calibrate the system for different Pens.

The Pen is placed on the Editor.
For Additional Information: See Pen Properties to edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for the Pen.
Click the object you want the Pen placed around.
There are nine Pens available.
The Pen Offset window will open.
Enter the Offset Distance from the selected opening to place the Pen.
Click OK.
Default Settings: See Admin > Editor for the default settings for the default Deboss/Pen/V-Groove/Crease Distance under V-Groove Distance.
The Pen is placed around the opening at the offset distance specified.
