  • Click on the Properties Tab to edit it.

  • Enter the desired size for the #102: Oval and a #105: French Stair openings.

    • Remember that we are going to merge the two templates together so keep that in mind when sizing the design.

  • With the #105: French Stair opening still selected, enter 90 in the Rotation field.

  • The #105: French Stair will be rotated 90°.

  • Alternatively, we could just click the Swap button in the Dimensions section to swap the Height with the Width for this template, but this would not work with all templates.

  • Move the #102: Oval and a #105: French Stair openings into the center of the mat.

  • The two openings should merge where they overlapped.

  • If you need to make an adjustment to the design, click the Group Selection button to unmerge them, then click on the background to unselect them.

  • Re-edit as desired and then regroup them again.

  • Alternatively, you could create a similar design with the #102: Oval and the #105: French Stair.

  • In this example, I made the #102: Oval 1” larger than the #105: French Stair.

  • Click on the Parameters Tab for the #105: French Stair.

  • The Step Width is .8125 and the N_Steps is 1.

  • Select both openings and click the Group Selection button.

  • This gives you an alternative to this design, plus the ability to change the number of Notches and their sizes.
