  • Debris has a chance to build up behind the Air Clamps on the CMC 5000, 8000 and 8500 models.

  • The debris will eventually bow the Air Clamps out into the Air Clamp Rail.

  • This is apparent if the customer places a piece of matboard into the lower rail and slides it to the left, and it begins to bind up.

  • Remove the Air Clamp Rail.

  • Clean out the debris.

  • Never use sharp instruments to clean out the Clamps or the Rails.

  • Replace the Air Clamp and the Air Clamp Rail.
