Outside Bevel Definition

  • The Outside Bevel is created by cutting into the fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°/52°, thereby slanting the bevel under the fallout surface or simply cut at 90°.

  • The matboard core is not visible from the front.

  • The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

Select Outside or Outside-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.

 How to Adjust the Configurations

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
