The 45° Reverse Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°, thereby slanting the bevel under the fallout surface. The matboard core is not visible from the front. The initial plunge position is determined by the bevel type.
The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove. However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within Designer.
The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.
Select Reverse Drop or Reverse Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.
