Locking Tab Folding Box

The material folds over and tucks into tabs to form the sides. The lid folds over and tucks into the base then insert the tabs at the end into the base the secure the box. This is cut from one piece of material.

  • Cut out the box at the desired dimension.

  • Fold the box sections along the creased edges. 

  • Fold in the inner flaps of the box.

  • Fold over the side over the inner flaps of the box.

  • Tuck the tab of the side of the box into the bottom of the box, securing it in place. 

  • Repeat the steps for the other side of the box.

  • The two sides are secured in place.

  • Insert the top part of the box into the base.

  • Insert the tabs from the top part of the box into the base to secure the box. 

  • The box is completed.
