Editing the Interior Overcut on Outsides

 Interior Overcut Definition

The Interior Overcut controls where the Blade Retracts from the Fallout (not the Matboard) on the Interior cut.

The Interior Overcut field is marked with a White Arrow on the Configuration screen and the Map illustration.

If the Interior Overcut is cut Too Long, Decrease the Interior Overcut.

If the Interior Overcut is cut Too Short, Increase the Interior Overcut.

 How to Select the Bevel Type to Edit

Select desired Cartridge Tab. 

Select the desired Bevel Type from Current Bevel Type.

Edit the desired Configuration field.

 When Cutting from the Front

Select Current Bevel Type-Front of Mat when cutting from the front of the mat.

*The different Opening Bevel Types, including whether it is cutting from the Front or Back, controls the cut direction of the Head, and determines whether the cut is a Backup or an Overcut.

 How to Adjust the Interior Overcut

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

Outside Interior Overcut Too Long

Problem:

  • Interior Overcut cuts Too Long.

Resolution:
