  • The Bevel Type is the Angle that the blade cuts on the Matboard/Fallout surface when it is not cut at a 90° Right Angle.

The Bevel Type is the Angle that the blade cuts on the Matboard/Fallout surface when it is not cut at a 90° Right Angle.

  • The Bevel Type is the Angle that the blade cuts on the Matboard/Fallout surface when it is not cut at a 90° Right Angle.

  • The Standard, Normal or Forward Bevel is when the Angle of the blade cuts the Matboard/Fallout surface so it slants away from the surface of the Matboard/Fallout, and the matboard core is seen from the front.

  • The Reverse Bevel is when the Angle of the blade cuts the Matboard/Fallout surface so it slants under the surface of the Matboard/Fallout, and the matboard core is not seen from the front.

  • The 90° Straight Bevel is the lack of Angle that the blade cuts on the Matboard/Fallout surface, as it cuts at a 90° Right Angle, and the matboard core is not seen from the front.

  • The Reverse Bevel is when the Angle of the blade cuts the Matboard/Fallout surface so it slants Under the surface of the Matboard/Fallout, and the Matboard Core is Not Seen from the front.

  • A Normal Bevel Open V-Groove consists of two cuts - one in the Matboard and one in the Fallout, mirroring each other, spaced a specified distance away. They are cut through the matboard, revealing the lower layer matboard in the exposed segment.

  • A Reverse Bevel Open V-Groove consists of two cuts - one in the Matboard and one in the Fallout, mirroring each other, spaced a specified distance away. They are cut through the matboard, revealing the lower layer matboard in the exposed segment.
