Connection Defaults

The Connection section displays and allows the user to change the connection to the server and database.

  • Click on the Admin button in the Admin section of the Main Screen.

  • Click on the Connection tab to open the Connection section.

Content Server

Use the Content Server section to Connect to the content server which updates the vendor content currently selected.

Server URL

  • The server URL is displayed on the Server URL field.

Save URL

  • Click the Save URL button to save the currently entered URL in the Server URL field. If you need to connect to a different Content Server, enter the desired Server URL and click Save URL.

Reset

  • Click the Reset button to reset the server connection.

Last Connected On

  • The date the system was last connected to the database is displayed on the Last Connected On field on the Content Server section of the Connection Settings screen.

Web Services

Use the Web Services section to Connect to the web services for software updates.

Server URL

  • The server URL is displayed on the Server URL field.

Save URL

  • Click the Save URL button to save the currently entered URL in the Server URL field. If you need to connect to a different Content Server, enter the desired Server URL and click Save URL.

Reset

  • Click the Reset button to reset the server connection.

Last Connected On

  • The date the system was last connected to the database is displayed on the Last Connected On field on the Content Server section of the Connection Settings screen.
