General Defaults

The Defaults section sets the default global settings to be used throughout the software.

  • Click on the Application Defaults button in the Admin section of the Main Screen.

  • The Defaults screen will open.

Mat Defaults

The Mat Defaults section sets the defaults for the New Openings Screen and the Design Editor.   

Edit Opening Size First

Select the default position for the Opening Size Field position on the New Openings Screen.

  • To display the Opening Size field first, select Edit Opening Size First checkbox.

  • To display the Outside Size field first, unselect Edit Opening Size First checkbox.

Layer Direction

Select the default layer direction for designing and cutting.

  • Bottom Up

  • Top Down

Borders Order        

Select the default Border Fields order on the New Openings Screen.

  • Bottom Top Sides

  • Top Sides Bottom

Reveals Defaults

  • The top layer is labeled Top.

Screens

Select the default size of the screens.

  • Select Auto Maximize* to maximize the screens to full size.

  • Select Remember Previous Size* to use the previous screen size.

*Note: Depending on your monitor size and settings, some features may be hidden if the display is not set to display full screen, especially on the Cut Preview Screen.

Standard Sizes

Edit the default for openings/outside sizes available from the Sizes button drop-down control.

Size Category

  • Select the Sizes category to add/edit:

    • Opening

    • Outer

Standard Sizes Listing

  • The Standard Sizes lists the Sizes for the Category selected.

  • Insert, Remove or Update the entries on this list. 

Images

Get Scale on File Load

Select whether to prompt for the image scale when an image file is loaded in Visualization.

  • Select Get Scale on File Load to prompt for image scale.

  • Unselect Get Scale on File Load to only load the image.

Limit Image Size

Select whether to limit the size of the image file loaded into Visualization. Large images slow the software down.

  • Select Limit Image Size and enter Max Dimension of file size to limit file size.

  • Unselect Limit Image Size to allow any image size to be loaded.
