Cartridges Involved

This Configuration element involves the following Cartridges.

Note: Not all cartridges are available for all CMC models.

Oval Rotation Definition

The Oval Rotation controls for Bumps or Feathers on the oval objects.

Current Bevel Type

Oval Opening has a Bump

Problem:

The opening is cut with a bump in the oval.

Resolution:

  • Increase the Oval Rotation. Adjust until the object cuts without a Bump.

  • When making adjustments, click the plus or minus button at the end of the desired field about four times.

  • In Rotation, eight points equals one degree of rotation. Users usually make adjustments four points at a time.

  • Click OK and do another test cut.

  • Check the results of the cut and continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

Oval Opening has a Feather

Problem:

The opening is cut with a feather in the oval.

Resolution:

  • Decrease the Oval Rotation. Adjust until the object cuts without a Feather.

  • When making adjustments, click the plus or minus button at the end of the desired field about four times.

  • In Rotation, eight points equals one degree of rotation. Users usually make adjustments four points at a time.

  • Click OK and do another test cut.

  • Check the results of the cut and continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
