Defaults

The Defaults section sets the default global settings to be used throughout the software.

Click on the Application Defaults button in the Admin section of the Main Screen. The Defaults screen will open.

Mat Defaults

The Mat Defaults section sets the defaults for the New Openings Screen and the Design Editor.   

Edit Opening Size First

This setting controls the default for the Opening Size Field position on the New Openings Screen.

  • Select the Opening Size First checkbox to make the Opening Size the first field in the New Openings Screen.

  • Unselect the Opening Size First checkbox to make the Outside Size the first field in the New Openings Screen

Layer Direction

Select the desired default layer direction, which designates the designing and cutting direction of layers.

  • Bottom Up

  • Top Down

Borders Order        

Select the desired order for the border fields on the New Openings Screen.

  • Bottom Top Sides

  • Top Sides Bottom

Reveals Defaults

Enter the default Reveal Value for each template layer. The top layer is always labeled Top.

Auto Maximize

Select whether or not to Auto Maximize* the screens to full screen size.

  • Select the Auto Maximize checkbox to automatically maximize each screen to full screen.

  • Uncheck the Auto Maximize checkbox to leave each screen at the original size.

*Note: Depending on your monitor size and settings, some features may be hidden if the display is not set to show the software at full screen, especially on the Cut Preview Screen.

Standard Sizes

You can edit the default Sizes for openings and the outside dimension in the Standard Sizes section. These control the sizes available from the Sizes button drop-down control when entering sizes.

Size Category

Select the desired Sizes category to add or edit: Opening or Outer.

Standard Sizes Listing

The Standard Sizes listing displays the current list of standard sizes that have been entered for the Sizes Category selected. The user can Insert, Remove or Update the current entries on this list. 

Security

Password for Access to Administrative and/or Configurations Screens

To set it so that a password is required to enter the Admin or Configurations screens:

  • Click the Auto-Login with User checkbox.

  • Enter the Admin Password you want to use to gain access to the Admin screen.

  • Enter the Configs Password you want to use to gain access to the Configurations screen.

  • Click Save.

No Password for Access to Administrative and/or Configurations Screens

To set it so that a password is not required to enter the Admin or Configurations screens:

  • Click the Auto-Login with User checkbox.

  • Remove any password entered in the Admin Password field.

  • Remove any password entered in the Configs Password field.

  • Click Save.

  • You will not be prompted for a password when you go into the Admin screen or the Configurations screen.

Remember Import Category

Select whether to remember the last Category you imported CutArt into on the database.

  • Select the checkbox for Remember Import Category to automatically remember the last Category you imported CutArt into. The next time you import CutArt, it will automatically open up to that Category.

  • Uncheck Remember Import Category to not default to the last category you imported CutArt into.

Get Scale on File Load

Select whether to prompt for the scale when loading an image file into Visualization.

Limit Image Size

Select whether to limit the size of images being loaded into Visualization. Large images may slow the software down considerably.

  • Select the checkbox for Limit Image Size to limit the file size when an image file is loaded. Enter the image size limit in the Max Dimension field.

  • Unselect the checkbox for Limit Image Size to not limit the file size when an image file is loaded.

  • No labels
