Removing Excess Vinyl

These instructions will show how to remove the excess vinyl to expose the design.

After cutting the Vinyl, peel the piece of vinyl from the stabilizer sheet.

Trim the vinyl down to size around your cut. Carefully peel away the excess vinyl from the backing sheet.

Sometimes using a picker tool helps, as you can hold the piece of vinyl you wish to remain in position as you peel away the excess from around it.

For complicated designs, it may be beneficial to cut away the sections of the excess vinyl as you peel it away to keep it from folding back and touching the remaining vinyl.

Remove the excess vinyl to reveal the design.

Now the finished vinyl design is exposed.
