Place mouse over button, and button label will display

Aligned openings: spacing is off

Designed mat from top mat, but numbers are from bottom mat, or vice versa.

Check Design from Top Mat button to design from top mat, or check Design from Bottom Mat button to design from bottom mat.

Default layer direction set to top-down, when designing bottom-up, or vice versa.

Select desired layer direction under defaults: top-down or bottom-up.

Borders are applied to the top layer, when designing from the bottom layer.

Select desired borders direction under defaults: top layer or bottom layer.

CutArt on saved mat does not display

Opening a saved mat with CutArt does not display CutArt

When a mat with CutArt is saved, the actual CutArt is not saved with the mat; only a path to the CutArt’s location.
Click on the placeholder (rectangle with the CutArt name), and click properties. Click Change CutArt and locate the CutArt’s location. CutArt is now displayed.

LetterMat cuts too small

Selected LetterMat size is smaller than recommended minimum size

Make sure the LetterMat font is within the recommended size stated on the properties tab for each font.

LetterMat: Can’t hit enter for next line

Each LetterMat can only be one line of text long.

Drag over another LetterMat opening for each line desired.

Openings don’t drag to correct place

Grid size set to wrong size

Select Tools > Grid Size to change grid point value.

Reverse Bevel cut on wrong layer

Reverse bevel selected on wrong layer

The top mat layer is labelled on the layer screen on the properties tab. Click the RB (Reverse Bevel) checkbox next to the desired layer to make it a reverse bevel.

Error Messages

Error #0-7. Call Wizard Immediately

These are corner error messages. Call Wizard customer support.

Conversion Error #6

No items to select; the file may be blank or incomplete. If this is a PathTrace file, it may not have been traced. Reopen the file in PathTrace and trace it.

Incorrect Customer Code Detected in Corners File

Need to re-download corners due to a computer error. Call Wizard customer support.

Error in Corner File

There may not be enough corners to cut the current mat.

If that is not the case, it could be a corner error. Call Wizard customer support.
