Style

The Style button displays the current

Dimensions

Use the Dimensions Section to edit and/or lock the template object dimensions, set the X/Y positioning, or rotate the Template.

The Sizes button displays a list of Recent and Standard sizes.

X and Y Position Fields

X (Position Field)

The X Position field is used to manually set the horizontal position of the selected template object (lines shown for illustration). Enter the new X Position to move the currently selected openings.

Y (Position Field)

The Y Position field is used to manually set the vertical position of the selected template object (lines shown for illustration). Enter the new Y Position to move the currently selected openings.

Template Options Reveal Tab

Use the Template Options Reveals tab section to select number of layers, reveals, Reverse Bevel, and cartridge selection.

Number of Layers

Enter the number of desired 

Layers for this template opening. 

Each layer entry is identified by a layer number; the topmost layer is labelled Top.

Reveal

Enter the reveal amount for each layer in the Reveal field. 

The topmost layer is labelled Top.

Click the RB button to make all of the layers a Reverse Bevel. 

Select the RB checkbox to make the current template layer a Reverse Bevel.

Click on the Cartridge Icon and select the desired cartridge for the current layer.

Availability of Other Cartridges

Note that not all cartridges are available in all scenarios.

For instance, you cannot select the Deboss Cartridge for a Template

Instead, you would need to create a Debossopening and then select the template shape for it in the Deboss Properties.Image Removed

Template Options Parameters

Edit the specific parameters for this template in the Template Options Parameters tab.

The Template Options Parameters tab allows editing of the parameter attributes of the selected template. 

These attributes are directly related to the specific template selected. 

Edit each parameter as desired. 

The design changes immediately to reflect the parameter adjustments.

Click on the Template Parameter Map button (displayed as [?]) on the Parameters tab.

A template map opens which will describe what each parameter field adjusts for the current template.

Edit Reserved Area

With the Reserved Area selected, click on the Properties tab and edit as desired.

NOTE: Reserved areas cannot be grouped with other objects.

Reserved Area

Label: Enter Label for object if desired.

Change to Template: Click Change to Template button to select a different template.

Dimensions

Width/Height: Change width/height of opening.

  • Click Sizes to select recent or standard sizes.

  • Click Swap to switch numbers between width/height.
