The Normal Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°/52°, thereby slanting the bevel away from the fallout surface. The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove. However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor. The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.
