Interacting Directly With the Designs on the Cut Preview Screen

  • There are several ways you can interact directly with the designs on the Cut Preview Screen which gives you more control on how to cut the designs.

Moving Designs

  • Bring the design to the Cut Preview Screen.

  • Click on the opening to select it.

  • Click and drag the design to the desired position.

  • The design will now cut in this position.

Copying and Pasting Designs on the Cut Preview Screen

  • Note: Copying/Pasting designs will only Copy/Paste the currently selected Layer.

  • To copy the complete design, select the next Layer and Copy/Paste it into the desired position.

  • Repeat until all of the layers are copy/placed.

  • Bring the design to the Cut Preview screen.

  • Select the desired Layer.

  • Click on the Opening to select it.

  • Hit CTRL+C on the keyboard to Copy the selected design.

  • Hit CTRL+V on the keyboard to Paste the design.

titleExterior Backup Definition

The Exterior Backup controls where the Blade Plunges into the Matboard on the Exterior cuts of Openings. The initial plunge position is determined by the bevel type.

The Exterior Cut is where the Blade Plunges or Retracts from the Matboard (not the Fallout).    

If the Exterior Backup is leaving a Hook in the corner, Increase the Exterior Backup.

If the Exterior Backup is cut Too Long, Decrease the Exterior Backup.

If the Exterior Backup is cut Too Short, Increase the Exterior Backup.

The Exterior Backup field is marked with a Green Arrow on the Configuration screen and the Map illustration.
