The Normal Bevel Open V-Groove involves two symmetrical cuts: one in the matboard and a corresponding cut in the fallout, both forming a mirrored arrangement a specified distance apart. Both the matboard core and the lower layer matboard are visible from the front.

First Cut: Cuts the Interior cut into the Fallout Clockwise: Normal Bevel Drop*.

Second Cut: Cuts the Exterior cut into the Matboard Counter-Clockwise: Normal Bevel Opening.

*The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove. However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.

Select Normal Drop or Normal Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit the interior cut configuration.

Select Normal Bevel or Normal Bevel-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit the exterior cut configuration.
