A chamfer is a beveled edge connecting two surfaces.

  • The Chamfer is the symmetrical angled surface at the corner of a Template.

    • If the surfaces are at right angles, the

chamfer
    • Chamfer will typically be symmetrical at 45

degrees. A fillet is the opposite, rounding off an interior corner.
  • A bevel made to break the sharp edge of a cut.

  • Bevel: cut a bevel on; shape to a bevel; "bevel the surface"
