Cut the Outside as a Shared Edge

If cutting a single design, it will cut only the top and right edges of the outside cut, using the factory edge of the mat for the left and bottom, thus not wasting any matboard since the Z1 and Z (9000z) can cut right to the edges. 

If cutting a tiled mat, this will cut the outside shared lines between designs as one cut cut, rather than cutting each design's outside edge individually.

The default setting for Cutting the Outside can be set in the Admin > Editor section.

The default setting for 90 Degree Outside can be set in the Admin > Cutting section.

Advanced Outside Options

The same Outside Cut Options are available on the Advanced Outside Options screen from the Cut Mode dropdown control.

Click the Set Advanced Options button on the Cut Preview screen.

On the Advanced Outside Options screen, set the Cut Mode to Shared Edge. The Cut Mode matches the selections from the Outside Cut Options as described above.

The shared outside edges of the tiled design will cut in one stroke. 

If you have Remnant Trimming on, it will also cut off the scrap edge.

Remnant Trimming feature trims off the remaining portion of the mat Horizontally or Vertically after cutting the design to make storing the leftovers easier.
