How to Copy Elements From One Design to Another

  • These instructions will show you how to copy elements from one design to another.

  • This is helpful if you have an element that you want to use and do not want to have to recreate it from scratch.

  • Click Browse on the FrameShop Main Page.

  • Hold down the Ctrl key and click on each design file that you want to open.

  • Click the Design button to open them into the Design Editor.

  • The designs are loaded into the Design Carousel.

  • We are going to start a new design to copy elements from these loaded designs into.

  • Click File > New > Design.

  • Click Cancel on the New Opening Screen if it displays.

  • Click the Properties Tab.

  • Set the Outside Dimensions as desired.

  • Now click on one of the Designs on the Design Carousel.

  • Click on the desired element you want to copy to select it.

  • Click CTRL+C to copy it.

  • Click on the New Mat on the Design Carousel.

  • Click CTRL+V to paste the copied element onto this new mat and move it where desired.

  • Click on the next Design on the Design Carousel.

  • Click on the desired element you want to copy to select it.

  • Click CTRL+C to copy it.

  • Click on the New Mat we’re designing on the Design Carousel.

  • Click CTRL+V to paste the copied element onto this new mat and move it where desired.

  • Continue Copying and Pasting elements until they are all in your design.

  • Finish the design as desired and save it.
