For Additional Information:
Select Options Menu > Cut Outside to cut the outside of the mat.

See Advanced Outside Options: Enable Outside Cut to turn on/off the Outside cut.

Make the desired selection for the Remnant Trimming as described belowdesired.
Click OK.
The CMC will cut with these settings.

Set Remnant Trimming to Off.
The design will cut but Not Trim Off the Remnant that remains from the matboard.
Remnant Trimming: Auto

Click the Set Advanced Options button on the Cut Preview to access the Advanced Outside Options.
Set Remnant Trimming to Auto to let the software determine the optimal direction to cut off the Remnant.
The software will automatically determine the Optimal direction to cut off the Remnant matboard by selecting either Vertically or Horizontally depending upon the design.
