Click on a Pen object and click on the Properties Tab. Edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for Pen objects. Optionally, Right-Click on the Pen opening and select Edit to open the Pen Properties. |  |
Pen Opening | |

The Pen Opening section allows the user to enter a label to the current Pen object, or select a different template instead of the Pen. | |
Label Enter the desired text in the Label field which will be displayed on the Pen opening. This overwrites the default label displaying the opening size if toggled on in the Defaults or on the Editor Edit Menu. Change to Template Click the Change to Template button to access the Template Library. Select a different template instead of the Pen object. To change the SHAPE of the Pen, see: Template Number and Name below. |  |
Set the Default for the Pen Cartridges | |

Calibrate the Pen Before Drawing | |

The Install Pen utility will calibrate each of your pens for use in the pen cartridge. |  |
Dimensions | |

Use the Dimension Section to edit and/or lock the Pen object dimensions, set the X/Y positioning, or rotate the Pen object. | |
Width Enter the Pen object Width dimension. Height Enter the Pen object Height dimension. Sizes Button The Sizes button displays a list of Recent and Standard sizes. Swap Button The Swap button switches the values between the width and height fields. |  |
Lock or Unlock Size | |

Click the unlock icon toggle to Lock the size of the current Pen opening. Conversely, click the locked icon toggle to Unlockthe size of the current Pen opening. |  |

Rotation Entry Field | |

Enter the desired degree of rotation in the Rotation field. The currently selected Pen will pivot from the center point. To rotate a group of objects or to manually rotate an object, see Rotation on the Advanced Tab. |  |
Pen Options | |

Use the Pen Options section to select a different template shape, make it a double-lined Pen, or attach it to an object or the outside mat. | |
Template Number and Name The Template Number and Name button displays the template number and name of the selected Pen shape. |  |
Click the Template Number and Name button to open the Template Library. Select a different template SHAPE for the Pen. Templates not available for this function are not displayed. To change the Pen to another template, see Change to Template above. |  |
