The Fallout is the part of the mat that is removed when a design is cut.
Typically, the Falloutis discarded, or saved for another project if large enough.Sometimes the Falloutis considered as part of the design, such as the Dropouts on the inner portions of LetterMat letters.The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.
Through Nesting, another design may be cut within the fallout.
