For Additional Information:
Click Options > Cut From Front to cut the design from the Front of the mat.
Select Cut From Front Button toggle on the Cut Preview.

Cutting from the Back will cut with the back of the mat toward the operator, and can be selected on the Cutting Preview.
If you are cutting an element that must be applied to the front of the mat, such as a V-Groove or Pen design, any openings on that layer will also cut from the front and use the Front of Mat configuration item; i.e., Normal Bevel-Front of Mat.  |

The Backing Boards are Two Sheets of matboard placed on the CMC behind the sheet of matboard being cut. This protects the CMC’s metal surface and helps stabilize the mat being cut. One sheet can be removed when cutting thicker material if needed.  |
