A 45° Normal Bevel Closed V-Groove involves two symmetrical cuts: one in the matboard and a corresponding cut in the fallout, both forming a mirrored arrangement. The matboard is cut halfway through its thickness, revealing the core from the front. The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut. The Bevel Type determines the initial blade plunge position. Select V-Groove from the Current Bevel Type Dropdown Control to edit this configuration. Image RemovedImage AddedFull Definition: 45 Degree Normal Bevel Closed V-Groove Definition |
