VG Width on the Crease parameters determines if the Crease is a double-lined or single lined Crease.

A single line Crease has a VG Width of 0 (zero) and Creases from the front of the matboard.

Anything larger than zero for the VG Width is a double-lined Crease, which still Creases from the front of the mat.

Distance

The Distance is the space between the Crease and the object the Crease is attached to in the Attach To field.

If the Crease is not attached to anything, the Distance field is grayed out.

NOTE: Offsetting the Crease from an object when initially placing the Crease does not automatically attach the Crease to that object.

Changing the Distance number will offset the Crease the new distance from the object.
