  • The 45°+ Normal Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the thicker fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°, thereby slanting the bevel away from the fallout surface.

  • The matboard core is visible from the front.

  • The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.The Bevel Type determines the initial blade plunge position.

    • The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove.
