Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page. Click Cancel on the New Openings Screen. On the Openings Tab, bring over a template #102: Oval and a #105: French Stair onto the Editor.

Click on the Bottom #105: French Stair opening. Click on the Parameters Tab. Change the Step Width to 5/168.

With the #105: French Stair opening still selected, enter 90 in the Rotation field. The #105: French Stair will be rotated 90°.

The two openings should merge where they overlapped. If you need to make an adjustment to the design, click the Group Selection button to unmerge them, then click on the background to unselect them. Re-edit as desired and then regroup them again.

Click on the Parameters Tab for the #105: French Stair. The Step Width is .8125 and the N_Steps is 1. Select both openings and click the Group Selection button.
