Change to the 45° Front Blade Cartridge

Your cartridge may look slightly different than displayed below depending upon what CMC model you have, but changing the cartridge uses the same process.

The 45° blade cartridge is labeled 45° on the end and is black.

  • The 45° Front Cartridge cuts the Bevel Angle on the matboard from the front at 45°.

  • The Copper 45° Front Blade Cartridge is labeled “45°” with a 45° Angle Symbol and a Triangle Symbol on the Cartridge end.

  • Your hardware may look different than the model pictured, but the process is still the same.

  • Push the blade cartridge release down to eject the

current

  • blade cartridge.

Turn 45 degree cartridge over and reinsert into the head

  • Insert the new cartridge into the Head with the blade facing toward the

CMC

  • board and the notch on the back of the cartridge facing the

head, until it clicks

  • Head.

  • It should click into place.

    • It can only be inserted one way.
