Click on the template opening and click on the Properties tab.

Template Opening

Template Design #:

Template Design # shows current template number.

Enter a new template number to change the template opening to a new template number.

[?]:

Click question mark [?] for template diagram.
See Template Detail Diagram for additional information.

Label:

Enter a desired label for this template opening.

Change to Template:

Click Change to Template to select a different template from template library.

Dimensions

Edit width/height of opening.

• Click Sizes to select recent or standard sizes.

• Click Swap to switch numbers between width/height.

Reveals Tab (Options)

# Layers

Select number of layers.

Reveal

Enter reveal amount.

Cartridge Icon

Click on the Cartridge Icon and select the desired Cartridge for this layer.

Default Cartridge is the 45° normal bevel Cartridge.

If a Cartridge is not licensed, it will be disabled.

RB (Reverse Bevel)

Check the RB checkbox to make this layer a reverse bevel.

Click the RB button itself to make all layers reverse bevel.

Several templates have adjustable parameters.
With opening selected, click on properties tab.

Click on the Parameters tab.
Adjust parameters as desired.

Click the question mark [?] for the template diagram that describes the parameters.

Screen can be dragged to a convenient location via the menu bar.

Click on the diagram screen to close it.

Some templates have the option to edit each corner separately.

Some templates display a different thumbnail on the template library than on the editor, such as #201 4-Staircase.

Other templates display one or more template corners differently from the other corners such as #204 4-Triangle.

To edit this type of template opening, click on template opening and click on the Properties tab.

In this example, enter a different corner type by selecting the corresponding number.
Feel free to experiment with the different parameter options to customize templates.

Click question mark [?] for the template diagram.

The template diagram displays.

Some templates have key openings.

Click on the template with key opening and click on the Properties tab.

Click on the Key tab to edit the key opening.

Edit the parameters as desired.

Click the question mark [?] for the template diagram.

The template diagram is displayed.

Some templates have name plate openings.

Click on the opening, click on the Properties tab then edit the name plate.

To center the name plate, click on the <=> button on the horiz dist field in the options.

The template diagram is displayed.
