The 45°+ Cartridge cuts the bevel angle on the thicker matboard at 45°.
This angle can be displayed on either the front or the back of the mat or drop depending upon the selected Bevel Type.
The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.
The Bevel Type determines the initial blade plunge position.
The 45°+ Blade Cartridge is not selected within the Editor; it is set by a Blade Depthmust be above 16in order for the CMC to prompt for the 45°+ Cartridgeon the Cut Preview.
*Older systems may have a 45°+ Yellow Plastic Blade Cartridge.
