Click New Mat Design on the FrameShop Main Page.

Click Cancel on the New Openings Screen.

On the Openings Tab, bring the template #301: Archway Top template onto the Editor.

Click on the Properties Tab to edit it.

Enter the desired size for the #301: Archway Top opening.

• You may need to make this opening about 1.125” shorter to compensate for the #104: Rnd Corner we will be merging with it.

Bring over a #104: Rnd Corner opening onto the Editor.

Enter the desired size for the #104: Rnd Corner opening.

• Remember that we are going to merge the two openings together so keep that in mind when sizing the design.

  • Make sure they are the same Width.

Click on the Bottom #104: Rnd Corner opening.

Move it so that it aligns with the bottom of the #301: Archway Top opening, making sure to cover the 90° corners of the opening.

• If you do not overlap the 90° corners, they will be incorporated into the design when we merge these openings.

Select both openings and click the Group Selection button.

The two openings should merge where they overlapped.

If you need to make an adjustment to the design, click the Group Selection button to unmerge them, then click on the background to unselect them.

Re-edit as desired and then regroup them again.

The edited #301: Archway and #104: Rnd Corner Bottom design is now completed.

NOTE: You can repeat this process to merge any two templates together in any configuration as long as they share the same Bevel Type.
