This topic focuses on grouped and merged objects, not Selected Group of Objects Properties.
For the Properties of a selection of objects, see Grouped Objects Properties.
Use the Grouped Objects Properties to edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for the grouped objects.
For Additional Information:
Select the desired objects and click on the Group Selection button in the Advanced tab.
Select the desired objects and click on the Group Openings button in the Tools section.
Select the desired objects and Right-Click select Group Selection.
Select the Grouped object.
Click Properties Tab.
For Additional Information: Right-Click on the objects and select Properties.

The Merge Paths checkbox merges any overlapped openings into one opening.
Click Merge Paths to merge any overlapping openings.
Uncheck Merge Paths to group any overlapped openings but does not merge them.
This is useful if the user wants to bring the overlapped openings into Trace to manually merge them as desired.
The objects contained within this merged object is listed in the Openings panel.
If you add another object and merge it with the existing merged object, the new object will be listed as part of a new merged object.
