The Rotation field controls how much the foot block will rotate before cutting. Adjust the Rotation if you are getting swoops or flares in the corners where the blade plunges in and where it retracts from the matboard on a non-oval opening. If you have too much Rotation on a non-oval opening you will get a Flare, too little rotation and you will get a Swoop. |  |
