Space Objects a Specified Distance

Space Horiz

Info
  • Space Horiz will Space Objects a Specified Distance from the Left-most Stationary Object

    • This button activates when two or more objects are selected.

  • Hold down the shift key and select two or more objects horizontally.

  • Click the Alignment tab.

  • Enter the desired spacing between objects in the Space Horiz entry field.

  • Click the Space Horiz button.

  • The objects are spaced accordingly, with the Left-Most Object remaining stationary.

Tip
  • Default Settings: See Admin > Editor for the default Horizontal Spacing and Vertical Spacing between objects.

Space Vert

Info
  • Space Vert will Space Objects a Specified Distance from the Bottom-most Stationary Object

    • This button activates when two or more objects are selected. 

  • Hold down the shift key and select two or more objects vertically.

  • Click the Alignment tab.

  • Enter the desired spacing between objects in the Space Vert entry field.

  • Click the Space Vert button.

  • The objects are spaced accordingly, with the Bottom-most Object remaining stationary.

  • Default Settings: See Admin > Editor for the default Horizontal Spacing and Vertical Spacing between objects.

Align Rows and Columns Checkbox

  • The Align Rows and Columns feature will attempt to group the selected openings into rows and columns when the spacing buttons are used.

Align Rows and Columns Checked 

  • Check the Align Rows and Columns checkbox.

  • Select the openings and click on the desired spacing button.

  • The openings will attempt to line up into rows and columns. 

Align Rows and Columns Unchecked

  • Have the Align Rows and Columns checkbox unchecked.

  • Select the openings and click on the desired spacing button.

  • The openings will be spaced based on the button clicked, and not necessarily line up into rows and columns.
