Changing the Blade on the 45° Front Blade Cartridge

The 45° Front metal orange blade cartridge is designed to cut 45° bevels on standard 4-ply matboard from the front of the mat. The 45° Front metal orange blade cartridge is labeled with a 45° with a Triangle on the end. The 45° front blade cartridge does not support blade depths above 16.

Remove the blade from blade cartridge.
Mind the sharp edge.
The blade cartridge displays a diagram of the blade orientation (shown in contrast).
Place new blade into cartridge with the longest side to the right and the bevel face down, lining up the bottom hole of the blade over the pin in the cartridge.
The blade should fit snugly into the recess space provided for it.

NOTE: If there is any side-to-side movement of the blade in the blade cartridge, it is time to replace the blade cartridge.

Insert the blade cartridge into the Head with the blade facing toward the board and the notch on the back of the cartridge facing the Head.
It should click into place.
- It can only be inserted one way.
