Testing the Circle Cuts

  • Select the Bevel Type Cutting Direction for the bevel type you are editing from the upper left dropdown control.

  • See Bevel Type Cutting Direction for information on the cutting direction for the different bevel types.

  • Put in an 11x12" mat into the CMC and click Cut.

  • Align the Head if necessary.

  • After it cuts, check the cuts and determine if you are getting a Bump or a Feather for any of the oval sizes that were cut.

Adjusting Configurations and Doing Test Cuts

  • Adjust the Rotation values accordingly until satisfied.

  • After a particular size has been satisfactorily adjusted, click the Locked checkbox for that size to no longer cut nor adjust it.

Positioning Controls

  • If desired, use the Positioning Control Arrows to move the design one-mat-width with each click. 

  • This allows the user to cut several of the test mats from a full sheet of matboard as you calibrate the circles.

  • It shows the full sheet of matboard with a representation of the last mat cut displayed.

  • When you have finished calibrating your circles, click OK to return to the Configurations Screen when done.
