The V-Groove Interior Backup controls where the Blade Plunges into the Fallout (not the Matboard) on the Interior cuts on the Inside Cut of the V-Groove.

The V-Groove Interior Backup field is marked with a Black Arrow on the Configurations screen and the Map illustration.

If the Interior Backup on the Inside Cutof the V-Groove is cut Too Long, Decrease the Interior Backup.

If the Interior Backup on the Inside Cutof the V-Groove is cut Too Short, Increase the Interior Backup.

Select desired Cartridge Tab. 

Select the desired Bevel Type from Current Bevel Type.

Edit the desired Configuration field.

Select Current Bevel Type-Front of Mat when cutting from the front of the mat.

*The different Opening Bevel Types, including whether it is cutting from the Front or Back, controls the cut direction of the Head, and determines whether the cut is a Backup or an Overcut.

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

• Decreasethe Interior Backup.
