Interior Backup on the Outsides Definition

The Interior Backup controls where the Blade Plunges into the Fallout (not the Matboard) on the Interior cuts of Non-Oval Openings.

The Interior Backup field is marked with a Black Arrow on the Configuration screen and the Map illustration.

If the Interior Backup is cut Too Long, Decrease the Interior Backup.

If the Interior Backup is cut Too Short, Increase the Interior Backup.

Adjusting the Interior Backup

Tip
  • To adjust, click Plus/Minus on the desired field about five times.

  • Click OK and do another test cut.

  • Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

Current Outside Bevel Type

  • The different Bevel Types, including whether it is cutting from the

front or the back of the mat, will determine the direction the head travels as it cuts, and dictates whether the corner is a backup or an overcut
  • Front or Back, controls the cut direction of the Head, and determines whether the cut is a Backup or an Overcut.
