Adjusting the Interior Backup

Tip
To adjust, click plus/minus on the desired field about five times. Click OK and do another test cut. Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

The Interior Backup controls where the Blade Plunges into the Fallout (not the Matboard) on the Interior cuts.

Select the desired Cartridge Tab.
Select the desired bevel type from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control.
Select Current Bevel Type-Front of Mat if it is being cut from the front of the mat.

The different Bevel Types, including whether it is cutting from the front or the back of the mat, will determine the direction the head travels as it cuts, and dictates whether the corner is a backup or an overcut.

If the Interior Backup is cut too Long, Decrease the Interior Backup.
