An Open V-Groove is a decorative channel that is cut through the matboard, exposing a channel of the lower layer matboard. The bevels of the Open V-Groove are displayed.

The first cut is the interior V-Groove line and cut into the V-Groove fallout and not the matboard, and is cut in a clockwise direction.
